These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of sacred-ways.com, operated by Sacred Ways, LLC (“Sacred Ways,” “we,” or “us”). By using this Website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and able to enter into a binding contract to use this Website or to participate in any Sacred Ways program.
Use of this Website
The content on this site is provided for informational purposes about Sacred Ways retreats, lineage, and team. You may read it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or republish content without our written permission, and you may not use the Website for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm any person, or to interfere with the operation of the Website.
Not medical, psychological, or legal advice
Information on this site is shared from the perspective of a sacred ceremonial tradition. It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from qualified professionals. If you have a medical or mental-health condition, you should consult a qualified provider before participating in any retreat. Sacred Ways does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and we make no claim of medical efficacy regarding any ceremony, practice, or sacrament referenced on this Website.
Ceremonial and spiritual practices
Sacred Ways retreats take place in locations where ceremonial and spiritual practices of this nature are part of longstanding cultural, indigenous, and religious traditions. We design and offer our retreats with the intention of complying with applicable local laws and honoring the guidance of our indigenous and spiritual partners.
Certain spiritual and ceremonial practices associated with retreats may be subject to complex and evolving legal and regulatory frameworks. While we work with religious and indigenous partners and intend our programs to be offered in good-faith alignment with applicable laws and protections, Sacred Ways does not and cannot guarantee any particular legal status or protection for any ceremony, practice, or participant.
Nothing on this Website constitutes legal advice. We make no representation that participation in any retreat, ceremony, or related activity is legal in or without legal risk in your home jurisdiction or the jurisdiction where a retreat is held. You are responsible for determining your own legal exposure and for obtaining independent legal advice if you deem it necessary.
Third-party providers and partners
Some aspects of our retreats, including certain ceremonies and sacramental offerings, may be facilitated by independent religious, indigenous, or community organizations (“Third-Party Providers”). Sacred Ways does not own, operate, or control these Third-Party Providers and is not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Your relationship with any Third-Party Provider, including any donation you make or sacramental participation, is solely between you and that provider, and may be subject to their own terms, waivers, and policies.
Retreats, bookings, payments, and cancellations
Retreat prices, payment schedules, and cancellation and refund policies are described on the relevant retreat registration materials and in retreat-specific agreements provided at the time of booking. By registering, you agree to those terms, including any non-refundable deposits and fees. Sacred Ways is not responsible for your travel arrangements or any losses associated with travel, including non-refundable airfare, accommodations, visas, or insurance.
Assumption of risk and personal responsibility
You understand that participation in retreats, pilgrimages, ceremonies, or related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, and travel-related risks. By registering for any retreat or program, you voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that you are solely responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Detailed terms of retreat participation — including health screening, waivers, informed consent, and community agreements — are provided as separate documents at the time of booking. Those documents, not this Website, govern any retreat participation.
Code of conduct and right to remove
You agree to conduct yourself in a respectful, considerate, and lawful manner at all times while participating in any retreat, ceremony, or community space hosted by Sacred Ways, and to follow all reasonable instructions given by our team. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to remove any participant from a retreat or community space whose behavior we believe is disruptive, unsafe, or violates our community agreements, without refund.
Media, recording, and consent
To protect the privacy and integrity of ceremonial spaces, participants may be asked not to photograph or record other participants or ceremonies. If you voluntarily submit or share any testimonials, images, videos, or other content with us — whether via the Website, email, social media, or otherwise — you grant Sacred Ways a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in any media for marketing, educational, or other lawful purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Testimonials and results
Testimonials, stories, or examples shared on the Website are illustrative of individual experiences only and do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results. Each person's experience is unique and may differ materially from those described.
Third-party links
Our Website may link to or embed third-party services (e.g., Calendly for scheduling, YouTube for video). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Sacred Ways is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
Intellectual property
The Sacred Ways name, logo, photography, and original writing are the property of Sacred Ways, LLC, except where photo credits or third-party attributions are given. Quotations from facilitators, participants, and lineage holders are used with permission. You may not reproduce or republish this material without our written permission.
Limitation of liability and indemnification
The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Sacred Ways makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Website or the content contained therein. Your use of the Website is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacred Ways and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the Website; (b) your participation in or inability to participate in any retreat, ceremony, or related activity; or (c) any conduct or content of any third party, including any Third-Party Provider.
You agree to indemnify and hold Sacred Ways and its team harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Website, your participation in any retreat or program, or your violation of these Terms.
Force majeure
Sacred Ways shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor conditions, governmental actions, or the failure of third-party suppliers or partners.

Entire agreement and severability
These Terms of Use, together with any agreements you sign at the time of booking a retreat, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sacred Ways regarding your use of the Website and any retreat participation. In the event of any inconsistency between these Website Terms and retreat-specific agreements you sign, the retreat-specific agreements shall govern your participation in that retreat. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
